Post Sun care.

It's Florida and here in the Tampa Bay area, we experience summer-like weather at least 80% of the year. Call us crazy but by the time you start suiting up for fall, we are still catching some vitamin-sea. These past couple of years I have grown an awareness of UV protection and more importantly the affect that it has on my skin ! I have learned ways to treat my skin pre and post sun to achieve that flawless glow and seamless healing process.

I'll admit it, I do sun tan...please don't follow in example but I'm afraid of self tanning, and I do like the look of a new glow. In my defense, I convince myself that I am taking such good care prior and after that it's okay to cheat in the middle. Like drinking responsibly :)

Consequences.

1.The salt and sun can be very drying to your skin, so you need to rehydrate it. If you don't, your skin is going to start to feel really dry in the days to come. Moisturizing is key at this stage, because weither you acquired a lovely tan or a terrible sun burn you don't want it to lead to cracked skin. Once you shower with a moisturizing body wash you must follow up with an "After Sun" care like moisturizer. Key ingredients would be some like Aloe, and Shea Butter. When you apply it right after you dry off, you seal in all of the moisture in your skin.
