I wore ROMWE for a week....
Hey people of this world...

...can you hear me? Because I am a nervous wreck, but my people in Florida need your help now more than ever. A prayer or two would make the world of a difference, because I have been in a surreal state of mind all week. Trying to figure out things like; should we evacuate, what do we leave behind, what are we going to come back too? As Hurricane Irma is approaching up the west coast of Florida, I am reporting to you all 500 miles away in Georgia. It is the night before it is suppose to make landfall in my city of Tampa and I have been eyeing down that radar, and following up with every news piece.
However, things will be different by the time that you read this....I hope we made it.
This post was suppose to be about fashion, and I fully intend to tell you all how my week in New York went, with ROMWE pieces incorporated into each day.
I have been big in the Asian fashion market since I first began TheRushh(i.e. LeRushhxo) back in 2012. However, all the outlets that I was ordering from had major flaws that I just did not feel comfortable pushing. I few months back I had seen a banner advertising about this blowout sale on a site called Romwe. I really go down the rabbit hole when it comes to fashion, especially when it's on unfamiliar territory. I dove into each tab, and spent hours picking pieces to see later. By the end of it all there was a massive load of fashion picks in my cart.....and the best part I was under $100.....

I have ordered from them once prior to committing to them for my New York wardrobe. I will honestly say it is a hit or miss. The pieces I have gotten range from tops, to swimsuits, jewelry and two pieces. I don't favor ordering any type of bottoms and that's a rule across the board, of any site. The sizes have been pretty true to size, flattering fit is a different story and I ALWAYS recommend getting your items hemmed or altered. A fit is very personal and I know the flattering angles of myself that I like to flaunt. The BIGGEST hit or miss is the shipping. My first order took a week to process, yet this one was shipped within hours of placing the order.......
I HIGHLY recommend the following when ordering online.
1. Hit the sales rack.
Can you truly judge the quality of a shop from their sales rack?? I like to believe so; those items once thrived in the "Newly added" tab and you're lucky enough to snag it at a killer price.
*PRO-TIP. Filter and sort to your desired size and prices from low-to-high.
2. Read reviews.
Often times you will hear some meaningful advice in the reviews. You'll find out if the items is true to color, runs small or to get two sizes bigger. It's not fool proof but it definitively comes in handy to hear from people that have a personal experience.
3. Order Multiple.
First check how easy it is to return at this store or site........THEN consider ordering multiples sizes of an item that you are unsure about. ESPECIALLY if it's for a special occasion or up coming trip. Nothing is worse then rethinking a look, last minute.
4. Stay away from bottoms.
A personal favorite of mine. I like bottoms to compliment my figure. This includes pants, underwear, swimsuits, skirts.....you get it. However, if you apply the rule above you might make out well with one of the picks.
5. Check for "in-store" options.
My other alternative to buying bottoms. Always check to see if the store has a home store near you and if you can reserve your items there. I recently had an interest in jeans from a store that was having a great sale for labor day. I reserved my favorite pieces and I had to chance to try them before I bought them. A huge bonus was that the store and site had different prices, yet they honored the online price ;)
This post is the kick off of an amazing rest of the month where I will be bringing you fall fashion from the Tampa Bay area.............things don't always go as planned. But I am confident that we will bounce back from this event. We are a strong state.
