Highlights from the Runway . . .Fall Fashion week

What an exciting past couple of weeks it has been for little ol me here in Florida. I've found myself deeper into work in almost every aspect of my life; mom duties, behind the chair, and of course on the blog. After working hard to keep it all together, I finally took a break and attended the Tampa Bay Fashion week for some much needed inspiration time.

Pfff- you guys let me just say- what a world of difference it is to watch it from a ground-level perspective. Whenever I would work a fashion show; it involved hours of prior prep time, and  if I wasn't required to flip the models, I would sneak out before the shows started. This time around it made me really appreciate seeing the show come into full circle. Seeing the the energetic host(s), creative aesthetic concepts, and how the model strutted to the beat of energizing music....This show truly had it all....

If it is your first time tuning in, Hi and welcome to my blog. What a fun time for us to come together :) However, if you've been hanging with me for sometime, I hope that I have made it utterly obvious how I am so Pro-supporting local hustle. At a fashion show, the people in the crowds and curious on lookers are in complete awe as fashion trends are made, broken and revamped. But lets keep it real, there is a reason why snow birds come down here for the Winter. It is sunglasses and tanks tops all year round here in Florida, therefore, we tend to play by our own fashion rules.

Tampa Bay Fashion Show did just that, and more ! So many creative styles flaunted what is hot and unique to our bay area men's and women's fashion.

Highlights from the Runway . . .

Fabletics x TechWear

Athleisure has always been a thing but lately it is becoming a trend on it's own. No-more grease stained shirt or baggy sweatpants here. Moms, college students, and busy bodies alike, take note because fitted, printed, and/or colorful yoga pants are such a way to step up your gym attire or your run to Target. When I am not out shooting or at working, I like to dress it down, yet these combinations that were strutted on the runway really take athleisure culture to the next level. From cohesive outfits, to pops of color, it is easy to see how these will transition into our closets.

Dolce Couture was giving me alllll the feels. High end fashion, and gorgeous models to go along with them.  Since we are whipping around 2017 corner, this is when Holiday parties and fun occasions to dress up, begin to rise and a designer Melissa would instantly be my go to for styles. She describes her pieces to be as unique as the client wearing them. Custom designs are giving us perceptive into different looks we don't see in mainstream fashion. You could easily be the talk of the party in a Dolce Couture piece. It's always good to have a couture on hand and she is within such close reach.....I may just call her for my New Years Eve dress.

The Elizabeth Carson show was the Grand Finale and it had to be my favorite show hands down. With the creative pairing of bright colors, and the versatility in the performance of each models. Each one brought new life to each piece being debuted. I could see the cohesion in ones closet for a stylish office wear or a fabulous night out. Pantone has released it's Fall/Winter palette and Elizabeth makes it that much easier to wear pops of bright color year around. This designer was a pro at showcasing how bomb her designs were. The music went perfectly with the vibe this collection was giving. These designs above are some of my favorites and I may just need to get my hands on before the season ends !

Thank you for stopping by, I hope that you enjoyed getting a glimpse into what the fashion show is like. This year was their 10th year anniversary and it was amazing! If you live in the Tampa Bay Area make sure to join us next year, til then see ya next time babes 💜

xox,

Victoria Lynn
